Abstract
This paper optimizes the transmission network's performance using Unified Power Flow Controllers to improve power system reliability, efficiency, and stability. This paper tests the UPFC, a flexible FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) device, to see if it can regulate voltage, phase angle, and power flow in real time. The inquiry analyzes how UPFC uses load scenarios and advanced management to reduce voltage swings, line congestion, and power oscillations. Simulations show that UPFC-based approaches improve system dynamic performance, transmission losses, and voltage profiles. This paper found that UPFC improves transmission network performance and ensures modern power systems have a reliable power source.
